Before taking:
Have you ever had a reaction to Remegel or any of its ingredients?
Do you have kidney disease, diabetes or hypercalcaemia (too much calcium in the blood)?
Are you pregnant?
Are you taking any other medicines, particularly tetracycline antibiotics or digoxin?
Are you on a special diet or have severe dietary problems e.g. malnutrition or phosphate deficiency?
If you answer yes to any of these questions talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Remegel may be unsuitable for patients with inherited intolerance to fructose, or an intolerance of sugars.
Dosage: Adults and children 12 years and over, chew one or two pieces as symptoms occur. Repeat hourly if symptoms return up to a maximum of 12 pieces in a 24 hour period. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Do not exceed stated dose.
Side effects: Constipation. People who have a poor diet which is low in phosphate may develop phosphate deficiency. If you get these, or any other unusual effects, tell your doctor or pharmacist. Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not use after the expiry date on the pack.
Keep out of the reach of children.
